Excited about our latest addition to our client roster: Westwing. Following an agency selection process, Westwing has decided to partner with BAAS as their new PR agency. Westwing is a renowned platform specializing in Home & Living. Founded in 2011, it has emerged as a leading online destination for interior design enthusiasts, offering a carefully curated selection of furniture, home decor, accessories, and lifestyle products. Operating in more than 11 countries, Westwing has established itself as a global player in the industry. BAAS will be responsible for the Benelux market, and we’re looking forward to share their stories and latest trends across the markets.

PAASPOP 30 March 2024
Last weekend marked the kickoff of the long-awaited festival season! Paaspop, treated attendees to three days packed with music, culture, and good vibes. One of the festival’s highlights was a surprise performance by Dutch artist Bizzey! BAAS orchestrated this activation, inviting influencers & friends to join. The event began with a BACARDÍ & BIZZEY BRUNCH featuring Chef London Loy and ended with a crazy party in the CASA BACARDÍ.
NEW OFFICE
BAAS 28 March 2024
Finally, the new office of BAAS Amsterdam has been completed. Over the past few months, extensive renovations have taken place on the 10th floor of the A’DAM Tower. After the artists from Graphic Surgery completed their murals, the final furnishing was done. The new office provides workspace for 30 employees, with perhaps one of the most beautiful views over the city.

RISE OF THE RONIN 21 March 2024
To celebrate the release of the PlayStation exclusive action-adventure game “Rise of the Ronin,” which takes inspiration from nineteenth-century Japan, BAAS transformed the Sony Interactive Benelux office into a vibrant Japanese setting. Given the Japanese origins of both PlayStation and “Rise of the Ronin,” the rooms were dressed with shoji rice paper room dividers, Bonsai trees, and chabudai (low tables). Influencers and community members were invited for a two-day event to experience the game hands-on and participate in traditional shodō (Japanese calligraphy) activities, all while enjoying traditional sushi delicacies.

The iconic Belgian concert venue, Ancienne Belgique, was alive with energy as content creators from TikTok and Instagram came together for an unforgettable night of Swedish pop music.

The agency will now spearhead the development of a comprehensive campaign aimed at captivating the attention of the new generation of cinema enthusiasts. Nike asked BAAS Events to curate a 3-day program in Amsterdam. Unlocking the power of unity and camaraderie of the Nike UK London team. Started with a visit to their headquarters in the Netherlands then followed by an inspiring tour through the cultural highlights of our city. From restaurants like Corner Store, Europa and Order Sichuan in the buzzing North side of Amsterdam to city’s gems like Patta Store and Skatepark followed by a sunny boatride through the canals of Amsterdam. Beyond a mere excursion, it’s a transformative journey igniting passion and solidarity within the heart of the team.

HARDCORE NEVER DIES

Last week was a hardcore masterpiece! BAAS Amsterdam organised on behalf of Amazon Prime Video, the premiere of the new Dutch film ‘Hardcore Never Dies.’ The ambiance of the evening came to life with classical tunes by the one and only Gabber Pianist on a Steinway grand piano during the reception. The film received a super warm response from the audience, setting the stage for an unforgettable afterparty where DJ’s Predator, Ruffneck, Distortian & Bass-D unleashed a musical spectacle that took the standard for the coming moving premieres to new heights.

After a successful debut during AFW 2022, Atelier Reservé showed this year’s ‘Discomfort’ collection during AFW 2023. The show, which took place on the roof of the famous Adyen building, attracted a lot of attention. New Balance supported with deadstock, which the Reserve Boys upcycled to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind garments. incorporating them during their 2023 Amsterdam Fashion Week show. The pieces included jackets, caps and boots. The models also all wore a mix of New Balance footwear.
